I had to admit...the oreos were prolly one of the best ideas ever..,and those pictures are really good. i have a couple as well, but i didn't pay near as much attention to taking pics at the game as i should have. i did get a picture of getting busted for beer though...good times. what a great way to end a half :D

Definitely mistaken! That would be Dayons.
Dayons introduced himself as Flipper. Those of us that knew laughed, but I'm not sure we ever cleared it up for those that didn't know either of them. If there was confusion, Metzger is correct, that's Dayons.
I'm sorry...what??

Jeez...golfer uses Mike's pic as an avatar, Dayon tells people he's me...this isn't a website, it's anarchy!!

I would rather not have Golfer know who I am. I don't want to end up in a guy's avatar.

Dayons had told me awhile ago that he loved deep fried candy bars. I told him to bring a few if he wanted to try making them himself. He brought batter and some candybars frozen on skewers.

Since we had batter and goofey had Oreos, we had the great idea of dipping the oreos in batter and deep frying them. Similar to the pizza rolls a few years ago, this was an epiphany of great proportions.

Deep fried Oreos are really, really good. The creamy center becomes a goo, and the cookie softens up a touch, but still has some crunch. the batter of course is a golden brown coating around the oreo. MMmmmmm....deep fried oreos...*DROOL*

Thanks for the pics, G! I love that one of Josh stuffing a grilled brat into his piehole. "1st brat of the season!!"

We sat on the East side for this one...always get a different perspective.

Looking forward to the season....only 138 days to go, according to TG's countdown. That isn't that long, now!

Great Time At The Spring Game!

Post by BGSU99 »

It was great seeing you and the gang Freak! Shoot, now I have to wait those 138 days for the seasons to actually start ... GRRRR! It was great meeting GoofyEuph and setting with all the members of the band ... you guys enhanced my Spring Game experience! Can't wait to see all of you in uniform in the fall! One of you has to teach Michelle and I that cheer you guys do when you're marching in, you know, the B-B-B-B-G-G-G-G-S-S-S-S-U-U-U-U ... Goooooooooooooooo ... Beat The Tigers!!! We were trying to do it during the parade down at the GMAC Bowl. There were quite a few Memphis fans near us so we yelled the 'BEAT THE TIGERS' part extra loud. It was fun. You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work! Oh, before I forget, Hammb and other chefs, I enjoyed the deep-fried oreo! Michelle wasn't too keen on it, but I thought it had a unique taste. The menu Saturday definitely wasn't for people who actually watch their cholesterol. I'm actually supposed to be watching that stuff, but, I like to let myself live a little (LOL)!

You want to learn that cheer?? COME TO THE FIELDHOUSE SHOW!!! It's always 2 hours (give or take a few) before Kick-off. I know thats prime tailgating time, but it is a really great show! We always start with drum cadences (which is what that cheer is from) then do BGSU music (pre-game) and then perform our halftime music. I'm glad that you were yelling "beat the tigers" in alabama. Half the time we were getting cheers, the other half we were getting boos (which oddly was almost as satistfying as the cheers). It was nice getting to meet you Saturday. Hope to meet up with agian throughout the season.
