What happened to Jelani Jordan?
What happened to Jelani Jordan?
Just printed off the Media Notes for this week's game and was going over the new depth chart. Carswell is back in at FS, Perry has moved from FS to SS, and Keon is over at CB. Jordan started last week and now isn't even listed at any of the DB positions. Was he that bad or did he get hurt?

Nice to Notice...
It's always nice to notice an interception, forced fumble, or a big hit that I hope to see our DBs doing plenty of this season.

The problem is...
Jelani is injured and anytime any player is injured, that's a problem. As far as play making ability, Jelani did make some nice plays last year and with experiance, I expect he will make more this year. I remember that nice interception he had at Miami. He's a starter for a reason and teams are stronger when all the the players are injury free. We need all of our troup to be healthy when we travel into that hostile environment down at NIU.
Get well Jelani
and Go BG!!!

Flipper is correct. In Coach Brandon's press conference, he stated that Jelani Jordan will miss the game because of a rib injury. Brandon said Jordan suffered some internal bleeding, but he expects Jelani to be back for NIU. Consequently, Keon Newson will play cornerback, with Deaudre Perry and T.J. Carswell starting at the safeties.Flipper wrote:I think I saw him clutching is arm to his ribs after one play on the sidelines. Could be that he hurt his ribs or his arm.
