BG mentioned in Mizzou/Troy State article on ESPN

It says Mizzou was the first BCS team to go to BG in the article, I guess they weren't aware of Pittsburgh being there in 2000.

The Blade also stated at the time of the Mizzou game they were the first from the Big XII to go to BG, but they forgot about Iowa State who came in the late 70s. Temple also has been to BG, not sure if it was prior to BCS days. . .

Technically, Iowa State wasn't in the Big XII back when it came to BG. I'm not sure how long ISU has been in that conference, but it would have been known as the Big 8 unless it was called something different back then in 1977. The first year we beat Mizzou in 1995, they were also in the Big 8. But the next two times we beat them in 2001 and 2002, along with Kansas in 2002, they were all in the Big XII.
GO BG!!!
