Anyone still worried? Hopefully this gives people some faith in the program! Sure they might leave after a year or two but if not, watch out for our mens team!! I can't wait til next season!! :D

Is the high ranking due to quality or quantity?

Fire the coach. We should have been #34. Sorry, I thought this was October.

It's nice to have a good class but keeping them and winning is a bigger accomplishment. Congrats coach D. on a nice incoming class.

Internet recruiting rankings are as accurate as "internet gurus" predicting how a team will finish. Granted, I'm included, but there's no way a team like NC State with a McDonald's All American coming in is #48 and even worse Indiana who's featured player is an Australian that no two sites have an even remote read on is #60.

That's not to say that we shouldn't be #35 or higher, but these things are ridiculously inaccurate.

WMU?

Post by Class of 61 »

Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago, right around the time that Depaul's coach left, that WMU's coach was being credited with the "highest Mid-Major recruiting class"? Wonder what happened to change that... won't complain if this rating proves to be accurate, but proves what was said previously, that these ratings mean virtually NOTHING til you see how the kids play...together. :?

Can anyone say "Blue Chips", not to start any speculation, but that's the first thing that came to my mind after our ok season last year and now a #35 class this year. Except, I'm sorta with option on this, I'm not so sure how accurate this is.

Pffft...We can't even afford to buy decent backbboards, where are we going to find the money to buy players?

This look like a great class.....on paper. But the game is played on the floor. If they don't gell it really doesn't matter if we have the #1 class. It's all about performance. And I believe we will perform much better in the long run for the program.

Whether or not this class is terrific is yet to be seen. However, I'm certainly glad that we're rated in the Top 35 instead of the bottom 35. Good news is good news.

Well Indiana was supposed to have a top 10 recruiting class if not the best. I think this was made to keep some of us quiet.
