This doesn't have to do with BG or anything but I found it interesting.

Associated Press reports former Tennessee OT Michael Munoz, son of NFL Hall of Fame OL Anthony Munoz, said he has decided to quit football after not being selected in the 2005 NFL Draft.

That's the competitive drive & desire you wanna see in your draft picks! :roll:

I think this attitude, along with a growing fear that he couldn't even pass a physical is why he dropped completely off the draft. Reading interviews and whatnot before & after the draft you could tell that he just didn't have the desire to be a football player. He's a smart kid who's got a degree, I'm sure he'll find something that better suits his personality...

He had some medical problems that went undetected until his combine physicals.

He did turn down a UDFA offer from the Bengals.

He is a smart kid with a degree from THE UT (not TU-PU). He'll be just fine.

I think his daddy has enough money to support him if he fails. He did all of those car commercials you know.

Anthony Munoz also owns a resaurany in Mason and is a sport agent, so Mike could work for his Dad.

That's what I was thinking. I don't even know why this is worthy of a story, they talked about it on ESPNews like 5 times while I was watching.
