Good question! I heard that despite Bernie being Frye's hero, he had no interest in #19. I wonder if Josh gets dibs on #5 by virtue of seniority ...

It may be appropriate to submit this question directly to Josh himself at http://www.joshharrisqb.com/forums/ in order to get a good answer to this question. He would be the one to give an answer as to whether he has claimed the number or not.

*Edit: There you go, I submitted the question on Josh's website.

Is it infamous because of the previous owner?

Happy feet, maybe. But judging from his girlfriend, I'd say Jeff had plenty to be happy about.

I heard Kyle Richardson who recently signed with the Browns has taken up the number 5. Richardson is a punter who was released by the bengals.

Then why does the Browns' site have him listed as 10? :D

I read that on a forum last week. I think it was a Toledo forum anyways. They definitely can't be credible than.

Thats no moon -- IT'S A SPACE STATION!!!!!!!!

Josh can do anything while sporting the number 5. I'm convinced of that. Including challenge an old man for the starting job in Cleveland.

Ahh, my only reason to care about crappy, crappy Browns football. 8)
