I LOVE euphonium. But the bell going straight up makes it impossible to put a tongue in there. I am "marketing" the trombone one for marching baritone too, but none for euphonium.
You guys are just too good for that. 8)

It could hang over the edge or something. The euphoniums that the FMB uses are bell front horns, so I'd imange that it would work.Falcon30 wrote:I LOVE euphonium. Random rant: I wish people would quit thinking that "euphonium" and "baritone" are inter-changable. Just like I know people don't like it when "trumpet" and "cornet" are used that way. They are TWO DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS!!!! What 90% of Americans think are "baritones" are really "euphoniums". I really wish people could learn this and figure it out
Well, you got one thing rightFalcon30 wrote:You guys are just too good for that. 8)
Actually that whole original post was all a play on the primise that the euphonium is the most overlooked section in the band. No hard feelings

I know some in your section have posted humorous (to us) and anonymous messages on the OSUMB "baritone" section site.... berating them for calling themselves baritones instead of euphoniums. It stirred up much distress and debate and defensiveness among the euphs-in-denial.goofyeuph wrote:What 90% of Americans think are "baritones" are really "euphoniums".
