Hotels in Madison for the Wisconsin game

Post by thewebboy »

Hey everybody,

I know it's early but me and few buddies of mine want to go ahead and book a room up in Madison for the Wisky game. I've been doing some research and the closest motel I could find was still about 2-3 miles away. I think we would rather get a cheaper hotel farther away but we're not sure quite yet. For those of you making the trip, what are some of the better deals you have found as far as distance from the stadium and price are concerned?

Also, if the first day to get tickets July 11th ? Or is there some sort of BG student discount I could get ?

Local ones are a touch pricey and hard to find spots in, but we're about 10 blocks from the stadium. :D

As far as I know, the team is staying at the Sheraton in Madison. The last time we played there, we stay right downtown next to the CApital and walked to the stadium. It might be smart to stay out a ways (cheaper) drive downtown in the morning, walk to the stadium from downtown, and then you can walk back and CELEBRATE a Falcon victory!!!
