What about new/improved/more luxury boxes in the football stadium? That could be very interesting. Perhaps the boxes aren't fancy enough and perhaps there aren't enough of them.

I'm out of ideas.
That's a good one, SF. Lord knows we need them.

So I assume there will be some major news this Sunday?
Actually, Salsa lives much farther from BGSU than either of you guys... ;-)
Oh, a stickler for details now?

They're actually completing work on the large statue of me, straddling East Wooster at the edge of campus. You wanted an entrance way, you've got an entrance way. Just don't look up, I was wearing a kilt and the artist was VERY accurate.

hey everyone, ive been lurking around here for a couple weeks and thought i would register and pipe in every now and them.

as far as this thread:

someone told me about this a couple weeks ago. unfortunately i got rather intoxicated and forget most of the details. here is what i remember.

someone donated over 3 million for the project, but they need a little more money to get it done.
it has to do with football (my comment was, "its amazing what a couple good years will do for football"

i will see if i can track down the source today to get the rest of the details. hope this is at least a little helpful.

You might be talking about the Sebo Athletic Center, it is going in the North endzone. The money was donated back in October.

No problem bradrel... you might be the first "new guy" in 6 months to not make a debut post with a "I heard Omar fell off of Offenhauer and broke his arm" type story. Welcome!

This has got to be something big, but has had the caps put on the announcement for a while. Maybe they were waiting for this weekend with everything else going on to announce it. Can't wait to find out what it is.

I think this is the big news Salsa was talking about. Even though we've talked about these two projects for the past couple months it's still good news.

Those are both great articles! This is non-football related but Krebs said "We hope to resurface our tennis courts this summer." That's a definite need with all the other renovations coming. Some of those cracks out there are as deep as the grand canyon!

"To the optimist, the glass is half full. To the pessimist, the glass is half empty. To the project manager, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be."
