Was the underlined meant to be the word clowns or did you mistype?

I have a feeling that Josh will come in to camp looking to prove something, earning that back up role and starting the next season. I personally see Frye being another disaster like Tim Couch, he had a lot of hype around him being the next Big Ben to come out of the MAC. But he could barely lead his team to winning seasons. Who am I to say though, I just watch the games I don't get paid to pick the players. Besides I just hope that the Brownies have another dismal year so we can draft Omar in 06' then we can have the battle of the BG QB's and see which one comes out on top.
That is a great idea! Josh and Omar battling for the job! :D

Frye is good, he really is. I just wanna see Josh beat him out for #2 this year.

Josh has every opportunity to beat Frye out for the backup position this season. I have to believe that they're targeting Frye for the starting job sometime in 2006, however. Josh would have to be noticeably better than him to leapfrog him in that regard.

I'm still holding out hope that Omar won't be IN the '06 draft.

i was looking through the browns roster and after i finished getting sick there were a few things I noticed and I am sure someone else has previosuly mentioned this, but... the browns signed free agents:

josh cribbs, qb to wr, kent state
lance moore, wr, toledo
danny wimprine, qb, memphis

they also signed some other defensive players out of the MAC along with simon fraser from OSU.

i didn't know this, but i am sure some of you did.

let's just see who lasts until the season starts.

If he is SO good than why were his teams always 6-5, yea he set akrons single season passing record in 03' but his numbers dropped last season. I'm sorry I just like to play devils adovocate.

It takes more than a good QB to win games...

Yeah but if the team has no leadership at the QB position, it's not going to do much winning either. :?
