Love the brown!

Post by Metz »

I got my marching band pants last night and was excited to see they really are BROWN!! When I saw that example one they had set up last year, the pants almost looked black but I think it was just the lighting. The new ones are brown like the old pants without the stripe down the side though! My only complaint...the black shoes. We should have got brown or orange ones :D

More than just the pants though.... the RAINCOATS are brown!!! No more of that nasty black vinyl stuff! *celebrates* And they're lined, so when it gets cold this year and Dr Hayward doesn't want us catching the flu, we can actually *gasp* MATCH!!

Now if we can just get the coats, shakos, and gauntlets distributed, I'll be able to breathe. I'm sure our uniform chairs would appreciate any prayers and crossed fingers to ensure that some disaster doesn't prevent the rest of our uniform being delivered tomorrow. We're cutting it awfully close and it makes me nervous! :?

Yeah, and when it's a lovely summer day and raining we still get to put those on! Talk about being warm at a football game...

she was correct with "match." she's referring to last year when we were allowed to bring winter coats to the game to stay warm since it was so bitterly cold.
