After this season:
Brandon GONE
Omar GONE
We should get ready for the Stud & A.T. Show
Omar's last season?
Here is what I care about, and the rest can rot until it becomes reality or wrong: I want BG to win a title this year. Beat "that team." Go to a bowl, and win that too.
The rest is moot.
The rest is moot.

Quite the contrary, I actually LIKE having the problem of having people leave prematurely. It means we must be doing something right. This is something that all successful programs must deal with, and I kinda like it.BGSU33 wrote:I can't even get myself to talk about this stuff. Let's just focus on them being at BG and go with that.....all this "they are gone" stuff is putting a huge damper on the BG football mood. They are here, we have them, let's enjoy the ride and see what happens when it happens.
Sure it sucks that we cannot maintain continuity, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and clearly some other teams are wanting to imitate what we're doing.
I agree that I love being in a position of such success that players can think about leaving early (or theoretically be thinking about leaving early) and have it be a good decision, or at least their own decision. But I have to agree with 33's thinking that we have 11-13 games left and we can talk until we're red in the face about Omar leaving/draft prospects starting in January.hammb wrote: Quite the contrary, I actually LIKE having the problem of having people leave prematurely. I see what you're saying, but man this time of year we're just starved for SOMETHING to talk about.TG1996 wrote:I agree that I love being in a position of such success that players can think about leaving early (or theoretically be thinking about leaving early) and have it be a good decision, or at least their own decision. I'd much rather talk about this than attendance.

Man, I wonder if attendance will suck as bad this year as it has in the past??

Give it a week or two, I'm sure soon enough we'll have another first-time poster's mention of "solid inside information" about BJ Lane and a potential murder conviction to debunk.hammb wrote:I'd much rather talk about this than attendance.

The spring game attendance was better than some of last years football games. Hopefully that means we are moving on up when it comes to attendance during the seasonWarthog wrote:Well, the attendance at the Spring game was better than other years, so maybe it won't.
