Perhaps this picture on the cover instead.

BTW, I know I'm a little late, but I just got '05 for PS2. I remember seeing these covers on here before, but don't know where they are now. Can anyone help? Thanks, Jeff

About the only way I would buy that game is if Omar was on the cover. 2003+2004+2005+2006=virtually the same game

I still have these two, if this helps. Only one PS2 one though with Cole on it.

Not this year. The Heisman mode sounds pretty sweet

BGSUcane -

I can seem to view your picture. I can see the ones of Cole and Pope above but not yours. Can you put it up another way? Thanks.

Great Stuff!

They went old school with the cover this year. Desmond Howard is on the front.

FORMER HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER DESMOND HOWARD FEATURED ON NCAA FOOTBALL 06

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – May 3, 2005 – Electronic Arts announced today that former Heisman Memorial Trophy® Award winner Desmond Howard will appear on the cover of NCAA® Football 06, the newest iteration of EA SPORTS™ best-selling college football video game franchise. In an all-new Race for the Heisman mode, players can start their career as a prep star and work their way to becoming one of the nation’s top collegiate players with the hopes of winning the coveted Heisman Trophy.

“Desmond Howard provided one of the most vivid Heisman moments in college football history and what better way to capture the essence of NCAA Football 06 than by putting his memorable Heisman touchdown pose on the cover of our game,” said Todd Sitrin, Vice President, Marketing at EA’s Tiburon studio.

“I’m very excited about being chosen to be on the cover of NCAA Football 06,” said Desmond Howard. “Winning the Heisman Trophy was one of the greatest moments of my football career and it’s cool that EA SPORTS is now giving gamers the chance to experience that for themselves in NCAA Football 06.”

Howard, a former receiver at the University of Michigan from 1988-1991, won the Heisman Trophy in 1991 as a junior after catching 61 passes for 950 yards and 19 touchdowns (23 total touchdowns). He was the first receiver in Big Ten conference history to lead the league in scoring with 138 points. A first round draft pick by the Washington Redskins in the 1992 NFL Draft, Howard went on to be named MVP of Super Bowl XXXI while with the Green Bay Packers.

With all new features, redesigned graphics and improved gameplay, NCAA Football 06 continues to be the most authentic and realistic college football gaming experience. Gamers can act as Impact Players and single handedly break games wide open with highlight reel moves and special animations or take control of a program and make a run for the championship through a revamped Dynasty Mode. In addition, NCAA Football 06 has the exclusive license for college football videogames, and will be the only game to feature actual teams, stadiums and schools.

NCAA Football 06 will be available in July on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft.

This is cool! First Cole, then PJ, now Omar! How many different covers are there? Do you get a choice or something?

Those aren't the actual covers. Just ones that people create to print and put in place of the original cover.

With the Heisman mode being introduced this year, they went with a former Heisman winner and for some reason the picked Desmond Howard...

NCAA Football is by far the greatest game ever made... its so realistic its insane and it is certainly worth buying each and every year... im not really that much into video games and on my "EA Sports Bio" it said i played for 17days 11hours and 43mins... JUST THAT GAME (NCAA Football 2005 only)! and that doesnt include all the time i spent beating people online with BG! Once again i cant wait until it comes out this year, the heisman mode sounds awesome. I also really hope they get the new BG uniforms on there and also get rid of the stands in the south endzone and get our jumbo-tron on there that would be great! For anyone who cares i took last years game and went 9-3 with BG on purpose getting the exact same Wins and Losses, then i made the 2006 schedule the same as we have it and it came out to 9-2 with the losses being 45-52 at Boise, and 28-34 at Miami, but it had us beating Wisc 33-24 and Toledo 38-27, to me that seems like a fairly realistic prediction for a video game.... we'll see what happens... does anyone know the exact day NCAA 2006 comes out? i think it was like July 16th last year so im assuming it will be about the same time? I wish Omar really was on the cover, i like Desmond Howard but i wish they would have gotten someone good from last year... would have been nice to see an Alex Smith on there!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
