There is no appeal to having a QB from Utah on the cover.
I would have put Woodson or George on the cover. But like the article that Metz posted, Howard doing the Heisman pose is the reason he is on the cover.

They are really marketing the new Heisman feature for that game. It better live up to it's hype or I'll be out $50

Heisman or no Heisman mode I was going to buy it anyway. I traded in a couple of games and preordered it already.

Well they really marketed the whole stadium pulse thing last year and IMO it was really dumb. They made it seem like they were going to make the crowd so much more detailed when all they did was show close ups of the four same douche bags over and over again. I played one season of it and reverted back to 04

That whole create-a-sign thing never really worked for me either. That game sucked.

Its the by far the greatest game ever made and it gets better and better each year, no such thing as it being "dumb" or a "waste of 50 dollars" i would probably pay 200 for it, its that unbelievably good for a video game
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
anybody want to set an over/under on O4's rating on that game? I'm gonna go with 93....
I'm kind of excited about the in-season recruiting feature on this year's edition. And of course every year I buy NCAA and Madden so I can draft as many BG players as possible for Pittsburgh. I can't wait to trade roethlisberger and staley for about 25 draft picks and insert Omar and the Popemobile into the starting backfield. Maybe Chuck would be a good replacement for Burress now that I think about it....

For fifty dollars it does not get much better from season to season and in my opinion and many others the games was better in 03 and 04. The only thing I like about 05 was they made the defensive playbook better.

I will say 97. I think he was an 80 last year and that with them hardly knowing anything about him. I would think Pope, Sharon, and Sanders should all be in the lower 90's too.
I bought the game last year, and I enjoyed it, but not as much as previous iterations. The online play sucked because of the stadium pulse thing. It made playing online on the road nearly impossible, you couldn't audible at all. You don't need audibles against the computer much, but against a human it comes in real handy. In real football they would develop some sort of silent audible system. In the game they just made audibles nonexistent in a tough environment.
I didn't play it nearly as much as other years, and when Madden dropped down to $20 I bought it because I hadn't played Madden in a few years. Wow. The game is so much better now than it was 4 years ago. Back then the college game was much better, but this year with the hit stick and what not I thought the Madden game was definitely more fun than the college game.
This coming season I'll probably buy Madden immediately, and perhaps NCAA later if it goes down in price.
For what it is worth I saw a demo of Playstation 2 2006 at my local blockbuster and it looked unbelieveably realistic.....which is too bad, becasue we're a Gamecube household.
Speaking of which, my son set up the Browns with Josh Harris and they are unbeatable!
i thought that Omar was an 82 last year, i wanna say harris was a 92? as a senior, i'll be optmistic and say they give Omar a 94! i just hope they fix our uniforms and stadium, b/c i can adjust the overall ratings so that its more realistic!

I totaly agree with you about Madden being the better game. The players look more relisitic, the crowd looks more relistic and the gameplay is BY FAR a lot better than NCAA. NCAA is a good game but after using "playmaker" button in Madden. And Omar will be 93 overall.
