This was also from CFB News...

Maryland
Byrd Stadium is expected to undergo a $95 home-improvement project, which would add 10,000 seats and several luxury boxes … Washington Times

I think we need their contractor if all they're paying is $95 for an additional 10,000 seats and several luxury boxes.

It's not the year that's the issue......it's what passes for luxury boxes there!

Not to get us back on topic or anything, but am I the ONLY one who laughed when they read "Temple vs. Wisconsin 05"? Since when were they good enough to merit such a big game?

Saxy,
I think this Wisky game was the end result of Temple getting W.Mich on the sched. and dropping NCState. Might be wrong, but I think that W.Mich was also due to play Badgers this year....so they "traded" it for the Temple game...not much of a trade for the Broncos this year IMO.

Western was scheduled to play at Wisconsin on 9/10. The MAC needed Western available to play at Toledo that day to help make the MAC schedule work out. The MAC "asks" Temple to take the game at Wisconsin to help make the MAC schedule work. Temple drops a home game with North Carolina State on 9/10 to go to Madison. Temple then drops a home game with Middle Tennessee State in November so they can host the Broncos. NC State and MTSU then get to together and will play each other after both being dropped by Temple. Is that clear?

So to thank Temple for helping get the conference schedule to work this year, we asked them to join the league. How does that sound?
