Losing 2-1 in the eighth, BG ties it up 2-2. BG started the inning with back to back singles, having 1st and 3rd and no outs. A double play grounder scored the run in the eighth. Badenhop is currently BG's pitcher. Guess they decided to use him out of the pen instead of starting him tomorrow.

Top 9: BG takes the lead in the ninth with a two out, triple from Wasserman. 3-2, top of the ninth and two outs.

Bottom 9: It's only fitting that the bottom of Ball St's lineup produces again. They've done it all game. Tied at 3-3, runner on 2nd with 2 outs for Ball St.

Bottom 9: Badenhop walks the bases loaded after getting ahead of Miller. But Miller fouls off mulitiple pitches then takes ball four. Badenhop gets a grounder to 3B to get out of the bases loaded jam.

Top 10: With one out, Lawson doubles, tying a BG record with his 19th double. Warnock singles to left. First and third, 1 out for Reimold.

Top 10: Reimold singles to score Lawson. First and second, 1 out. BG winning 4-3.

Top 10: For some stupid reason, BG decides to double steal and gets Warnock gets caught at third. Hudak then strikes out to end the top of the 10th.

Bottom 10:

BG loses in 11 innings, after an error by our SS, a hit, a walk to load to bases and with 2 outs a single to left to end it.

Wonder how much they have left after this game? BG twice had the lead, only to blow it in the ninth and tenth.

Great game. BG fought hard the whole way. I wouldn't say they blew the lead. BG played tough. BG now plays Akron tomorrow morning at 10am

Tough, tough loss for BG. I hope we can come back strong tomorrow. I'm actually down here in Jacksonville, Florida for the ACC Tournament. We're playing in a minor league park, it's very, very nice. #7 seed Virginia knocked off #2 seed Clemson today. Huge win for the Cavaliers. I have a feeling we're going to make a run at this title.....we'll see. But back to the topic at hand......GO BG!!!

Wow 33...sounds like a good time! Looks like 82 degrees in Jaxville today.

Tough loss to a very good Ball State team.

BG has started out a little slow, losing 2-0 in the top of the fourth. Just like yesterday, the opponents bottom half of the lineup is producing with run scoring hits.

Reimold walked in the second inning, and unless Hudak can get on base, I have a feeling that he will not be seeing many good pitches to hit. Akron will probably make others beat them.

Now it's 3-0 after 5 innings. We have ONE hit so far.

Akron's pitcher has now retired 11 in a row. Bottom of 5. At least BG's Laughlin is keeping it close. Still some time left.

Not the best time for your leading hitter to go through a semi-slump. Hudak struck out to end the 6th, and is now 0-8 for the MAC tourney. Not sure if he is just not picking up the ball (struck out twice already) or what. He'll get at least one more chance in the ninth.
