OK I will be more specific. I mean go look around and see what people not named tcochran think of Omar Jacobs draft potential. Just look around on this site and oyu can find links to plenty.

I think Omar will leave for the Draft for sure after this year, especially if he goes off again this year with amazing numbers. I'd like him to stay one more year, but then you gotta think about Turner's chance to shine as well. Not sure if Turner is as quite as polished as Omar yet, but he'll probably will be in time.

I hesitate to bring this up, but at the high school in which I teach, there is a young man who is being recruited hard by USC, OSU, MARYLAND, Minnesota and BGSU among others. I happen to be close to the FB coach (we share a room) and he mentioned that even in his meetings with BG staff they expected him to leave early next year.

Really - If he has the kind of year we all hope for, he probably will leave. Therefore, I kinda hope he does feel like he should declare himself eligible for the draft in 7 or 8 months.

Might as well throw me in with tcochran. I believe him/her and I are the only 2 on this site that believe Omar will stay.

The difference is that tcochran seems to believe Omar is not good enough. You think that Omar will do the noble thing and return.

Actually I would be the third person. I think he will probably be a high pick if he came out, but I think he could be the #1 overall pick if he comes back for his SR. season.

Perhaps, but that's alot like playing the "gas waiting game". Just like you could pass up a gas station today figuring it COULD be a nickel cheaper tomorrow, and when tomorrow comes, its a quarter higher. The difference between being #4 or 5 picked after this year and possibly #1 the next, but maybe much lower is a big trade-off to weigh, and possibly even a risk.

The waiting game sucks. Lets play Hungry Hungry Hippos!

A reminder to anyone that hasn't figured it out. Get your gas today, before "holiday-itis" sets in at the pumps. It's amazing how the price of crude oil rises dramatically around three day holiday weekends. :?

Hey, the Warthogs are buying a new house and I need that annual bonus to be as big as possible. High gas prices are good. :D

couldn't you just use your fine petroleum product to have an "insurance-related accident" at the current house to help finance the new one?

Heck no...never fill up Thursday in BG...That is one of the things I HATED about BG was the stupid gas stations. Believe me guys, they don't do not raise the price 10 cents a gallon on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday all over the country. I think it is just an Ohio thing and for sure a NW Ohio thing. :x

It boils down to how BG does as a team. IF BG does poorly, his stock will not be as high.

Actually, if Vince Young comes out along with some other JRs this season, it wouldn't be a gas waiting game. It would be like someone that makes the trip from Lima to BG everyday and knows who has the best gas prices along the way.

If there are other hot QBs out there this season don't be surprised if Omar Stays.

Gas pretty much follows the weekend trend here in lexington. It probably depends on the type of town you live in, i.e a young college town in which people leave for the weekend probably sees more thursday afternoon gas hikes then a normal town.
