Where does one obtain one of these season highlight tapes I keep hearing about? The closest thing I have is the "Road to the Motor City Bowl" that I still have on my TiVo. My girlfriend starts throwing things at me whenever I put either that or the Motor City Bowl on. ;)

LOL

Nah, she is great. She wsa born in South Carolina and is a Gamecock by heart, but when it comes to going to actual football games, I have her fired up for the Falcons. She went to every home game and to tOSU game last year with me. She couldn't make the MCB because she was with her family, but she made them have a BBQ outside with the TV and had her entire extended family rooting for the BG. Getting her to touch the color orange was a trick though due to her inherint disdain for Clemson, but I have helped her assemble a nice wardrobe after she got over it. ;)

FK,

Call the football office and/or athletic office. "How The West Was Won" is the name of the tape. They've put one out each yr since 2001 and it keeps getting better each time. This last one is awesome.

I don't know if the bookstores have them or not....possibly the one in the Union. SOme of the footage from "Road to the MCB" is on this tape. IT ROCKS.

I think I'll watch all 3 tonight...FALCON FOOTBALL. :D

Freak!

I'm still alive. Don't know if Michelle told anyone or not, but I had a little mishap in the backyard. I was mowing and something flew up and hit my left eye. There was some damage there and I had to have surgery. It's recovering quite nicely and I will be ready for football season! Just watched my DVD's of the Toledo game and the Motor City Bowl the other day! I am pumped! The first game can't get here soon enough. I was wondering, because I didn't remember, are you going down to Oklahoma for that game on the 4th? If not, I'd love to watch the game on tv with you somewhere depending on your plans for that game. Let me know, Brother! Hey, this site is awesome ... props to Grant, Iron Mike, and Dayons Den (I'll get up to speed on the new names) for this! This is fabulous!

Sorry to hear about the mowing injury. Hope the recovery is going well.

Ed!!

Man, glad to hear your mishap wasn't worse! I wear sunglasses every time I mow and I've gotten lucky not to get nailed with something in the eye.

Good to see ya back!! Well, I don't have the $$$ to make OK and, with Josh and Jake playing football, I'll have less time anyway. If you and Michelle wanna get together to watch the game, cool by me!

I'm pumped as well. Gonna be another awesome year of BG football.
C ya soon, bro.

GO BG!~

Hey everybody, daily reader of AZZ and infrequent poster, but will definitely become more frequent! Yes, I cannot wait until BG football starts. Baseball is getting on my last nerve right now. I cannot stand baseball, no offense to anyone that loves the sport :) At least on the bright side the Olympics will be starting soon and will be able to pass the time right up to the start of the season :) I look forward to posting more!!

You cannot stand baseball, but you enjoy the OLYMPICS!?? WTF!?

Baseball is America's Pasttime! Sorry, baseball was my first love when I was growing up, and I still love the game. I hate the way the sport is run, but I cannot give it up. And personally I think the summer olympics are about the msot boring grouping of sports you could possibly create. The only thing they show are the games that the US is good at which means a steady diet of Swimming & Track *BLECH*. Throw in some gymnastics for ratings...yay  The sports in the olympics that might actually be worth something like table tennis are hardly televised. Boy I hate the summer olympics...

I used to play baseball growing up and was a HUGE baseball fan through high school, but after that strike in the mid-90's, they lost me as a fan and haven't gone back since. I still like to see the Tigers do well, even though I am not a fan. But the thing I like most about the Olympics are USA basketball and track and field. The gymnastics and swimming I don't care too much about, but how can you ignore watching the ladies playing beach volleyball :) Just something to fill the time, since we are in the dog days of summer!

Hammb, I totally agree

The coverage of the Olympics is riduculous. It's like these sports don't even exist until the Olympics comes around. I mean, where are they the other 3.75 years? Now we get in a two month stretch where they are supposed to be the most important sporting events going on and it is all over TV? Please, just stick to baseball and football training camp news. If I want to see what 14 year old Romanian girl won the bronze medal for the pommel horse, I will catch it in on the ESPN2 scroll.
