Baby Harris is here!

Post by Luvmy5 »

Hey BG people! It's Tami (of course).
It's been a while since I've been on here, but I'm happy to get to post today with great news.
After 23 LONG hours of labor, Jacob Lee Harris was born at 8:01pm on Thursday, May 12, 2005 (Just in time for the Survivor finale!) :) He weighed 7 pounds even, and was 20 inches long. He is the cutest little guy...if I must say so myself. He has bluish-gray eyes (which happen to be on both sides of the family....go figure, a little black baby with bluish eyes)and he has a full head of black hair, which he got from Josh b/c I was born bald! He has HUGE hands and feet, Which Josh is super excited about, and swears that he has big quad and calf muscles...too funny! EVerything is going great and Josh and I are loving parenthood. Josh is probably the silliest Dad I've ever seen. He is hilarious! Just thought to keep you all in the loop. As far as football goes... That is going awesome too! Josh is currently #2 on the depth chart and is doing really well. We're excited about this season and are anxious to see what else God has in store for us. We'll be sure to keep you all posted.

Great news Tami!!! Should have made two posts because now its hard for me to say which I like to hear more, the birth of your baby boy, or the Josh is #2 on the depth chart. Either way, take care of both your little boys.

Congrats Tami! I'm really happy that the delivery went well for you (despite the length  ).

Hope all is going well for you and your new family! Give Josh all of our best, too.

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Congrats Tami and Josh!!!! Mrs. Freak and I have 2 sons and one is named Jacob...the other is Josh. Great names!

God has blessed you incredibly and I very much hope Josh will stay #2 on the depth chart. I know Charlie Frye is a solid QB but I am biased.

Take care and enjoy the new bundle of love. Is Josh changing diapers yet? Real men change diapers.

He has 2 very fast parents, big legs, and big hands to hold the ball...he'll probably be a RB someday!! :D

Congrats to the Harris family for their new addition!!

Congratulations Tami! Ironically, my wife and I also had a baby boy named Jacob that same morning! I hope parenthood is going well for you and we wish Josh the best of luck with the Browns.

Yes, Josh is changing diapers! He had changed several before I even changed the first one! He's a good dad. Funny story....While I was in labor, the Dr. came in saying it was time to push and Josh gets this big smile on his face and says "4th Quarter honey, let's go!"It was hilarious!

Now that is classic, I laughed really hard!

Congrats to the both of you on the birth of your baby! I hope he is someday a BG Falcon! It'd be nice to see another Harris with the #5 on in the orange and brown.

There Josh goes thinking about himself first. Shouldn't he have put it in Track terms? Like "Last 50 meters honey, let's go!"?
