Mother Miami's a whore.

Seriously, she is. Got her number from a truck stop restroom and everything.

It's the Journey... wrote:Well, i'll put my head on the block first. My second favorite school is OSU, that is Ohio State University.

I'll back you up on that one Journey, I love the Buckeyes. I will actually admit to you all that I've been an OSU fan longer that I have been a Falcons fan   . But I love them equally, the Buckeyes for the pure Ohio tradition and the Falcons for the kick-butt teams they have.

Don't help me kid. In fact, don't respond to any of my posts again. I don't need your crusade to self redemption on here interfearing with my posts. Mean, yes. True, absolutly!

The pure tradition of letting their marching band run into each other and screw up the script Ohio...probably the most well known tradition. The one they stole from Michigan :D

So obviously Michigan comes in 2nd for me. The schools behind BG and Michigan vary by sport for me. For football, I really don't like any other teams. Basketball is tough because I like both North Carolina and Duke, but I don't think that's legal. I like Texas when it comes to softball, and Arizona, too (check out their roster ). When it comes to women's bball, I'm a fan of Baylor, hence why I picked them to win the title from day 1 of the tourney. But yeah, I guess I like teams that do good, but teams that do good usually play the sports the best and it keeps me watching them!

favorites:
Bowling Green
UVA (grew up an hour south, has a friend who plays for them, has another friend who will be playing next year, been a season ticket holder the past two years and will be again this year, even though I'm only going to two home games--FSU and vt-- and the game at Syracuse)
Duke (Grandfather went there...mom and everyone on her side of the family has season tickets for football, I would be going to their games until I could drive, then went to UVA games)
LSU (went to see them play vt back in 02, I loved them ever since

teams I hate:
VT--hate them with a passion, its killing me to see a lot of my good friends go there, some of which I tailgated with at UVA games, and they were rooting heavily for UVA.
Maryland--oh man, what a bunch of idiots and losers. Never go to a game at College Spark unless u are prepared to have ure possessions set on fire.
UNC--my family loves Duke so I hate UNC.
NCST--bad expierience there when I went in 03 to watch them play UVA...that was the game when they had a drive by shooting afterwards.
Toledo--No real problem with them yet, but I guess I'll have to hate them now.

I do like Coach Fisher DeBerry and the Air Force Falcons. Flordia Gators? Yeah, my uncle was the dean of housing at UF for many years so I have an interest in the Gators...with or without Urban.

#1 hated team? Obvious answer here. The school up I 75.

That's all, folks.
Why do you like AF??

As an Air Force member even I can't stand the cheating the cadets get away with. Steroid use, rape, etc. The Air Force Academy is a waste of tax payers money.
You sure you aren't talking about some BCS school?

And why should I justify my reasons for liking Air Force to someone who doesn't have the balls to identify him/herself?

a combination of things (in no particular order)
1) Sport management major. This is what I want to do. I hope to be an A.D. somewhere.
2)d-1 football. The only schools with sport management in VA are in my hometown of Lynchburg (Liberty University and Lynchburg College) and I wanted to go somewhere where I could watch a good football team, and maybe be a manager for them eventually. I had a friend who was the manager for Longwood in bball last year and he had a blast...got to go so many places and met Dee Brown, etc.
3) out of state. I wanted to get away from some of the people in VA
Those are the first that come to mind...I'm sure there are some more.

Let's learn a new word today, DIALOG! Look that up Odie. Your lack of text will make you nothing more than golfertk14, and not who you want to be.

O.K., this might irritate some, but I can't stand when people from Ohio root for Michigan.

Odie, let's learn Dialogue... it involves words and civil conversation. Sometimes can be heated, sometimes not.

Why is that? Does your place of birth automatically dictate who you root for in collegiate athletics?
