Camp Randall is awesome because of the atmosphere, However, much as it may irk people, I like Neyland Stadium... and even Ohio Stadium. You can't beat 101,000 people singing at the top of their lungs, but the Sway certainly is awesome!
(I can't get over the sway...) Also Badgerites are fanatical... I would ALMOST venture worse than A&M fans...

If you have ever been to or seen Camp Randall, the 2nd deck SWAYS noticibly when the band plays..(I believe it is Bud.) They used to warn people who were prone to seaseickness of weak of stomach to leave the top deck before they started.... It is safe, but it just sways, my friends at UW call it "The Sway"

After the 3rd quarter, the old skool hip hop (if you can call it that) song "Jump Jump" blares and all the students (10,000+) jump up and down and I have heard that this makes makes the balcony and the press box sway back and forth. If you are going to the game, and have never seen "Jump Around," make sure you are at your seats after the 3rd quarter...

Sounds like fun. I'm looking forward to it. Well, friend, I am an alumnus with a great job so I hope my money will be good enough.Badger8843 wrote:sorry white, orange it doesnt matter either way its garbage, i mean i at least pay $5 dollars to go back and watch my old high school play but those orange and white cards are pretty powerful
I noticed a comma and a period. Getting a little better. Capital letters would be refreshing. Remember: the "Enter" button is your friend.

Going to camp randall - bring heavy armor for all the stuff they'll be throwing at you (Batteries, Pennies tucked in marshmallows, etc.) Also, leave your ego at the gate, or you're going to end up in a fist fight. Finally, if you stay overnight in your RV, don't expect to get any sleep owing to the constant stream of obscenities and pounding on the sides of youw RV you'll endure.
Am I to understand someone is appealing to PS2 stuff in support of something related to actual football? Look, I love NCAA2k5 as much as the next guy, but it's absurd to appeal to that as some kind of authority on anything. I can use Yale to beat Tenny in Neeland. Yeah, I know you'll say "But if EA thinks Camp Randall is a tough place to say, it must be" So what. Miami Fla isn't to difficult a stadium to play in, and it's ranked. Michigan has been called the most quiet 110,000 people you'll ever see. Autzen (out in Oregon) is tougher than both these places and seats less (actually about the same as Miami Fla)
Camp Randall IS a tough environment though. I'm just saying your appeal to a video game is absurd.

Re: For some
Listen Badger, I appreciate you coming here and giving us your opinion just as much as everyone esle does, I'm sure. Just don't be a demeaning douche. No one likes a douche. You sound more and more like a prototypical Big Eleven fan every time you post.Badger8843 wrote: Oh yea for the dedicated bg fans that are making the trip to madtown make sure you bring your drinking shoes and some money for the tickets because this isnt bg you have to buy tickets you cant get in for free with your orange bg card. when youve said Wisconsin youve said it all
Punctuation would be WONDERFUL as well...

As for the atmosphere in "madtown" see my post above. Trust me, BG folks, you think Ohio State fans are obnoxious? You've seen nothing yet.
As for the product on the field - a quick hitter of some ugly losses to "over matched" opponants (of which, again, I don't think BG is)
11/13/04 @ *Michigan State (5-7) L 14 49 (Sure, tell me the East Lansing is a tough place to play and that's why you got shellacked)
9/13/03 vs. Nevada-Las Vegas (6-6) L 5 23
10/12/02 @ *Indiana (3-9) L 29 32 (Again, tell me all about Bloomington)
11/9/02 vs. *Illinois (5-7) L 20 37
Here's a couple recent ugly wins
9/18/04 @ Arizona (3-8) W 9 7
9/25/04 vs. *Penn State (4-7) W 16 3 (Not one offensive TD by either team, if memory serves (It may have been PSU Iowa though))
Recent Wisky seasons
2004 9-3-0
2003 7-6-0
2002 8-6-0
2001 5-7-0
2000 9-4-0
Not really setting the world on fire anymore, there, BADgers.
But, all that said, you guys still have bragging rights over me (for the moment) 10/9/04 @ *Ohio State (8-4) W 24 13

Agreed - to me Wisconsin needs to have a balanced attack. If OU couldn't destroy us with the running game, Wisconsin can't.Schadenfreude wrote:Everyone says Wisconsin is going to try to pound the ball on us.
I hope they try.
I don't think it's going to work.
Why is everyone so concerned with not having the ball for very long? We could score on a four play drive and Wisconsin could have a 13-play drive peter out on the 40 yard line. They might win time of posession, but c'mon.
I think we score early. I think we get a lead and try to hold it. I hope we can. I am almost more worried about their passing game than their rushing game.

Sorry everyone for my grammar errors, take a chill on that, see I go to OSU which is turning in to a hard school to get into. So when I'm done with school in the summer I don't worry about my grammar, and defiantley when I'm posting on some forum, but to the buckeyekickbutts youre right we do own you. Beat you the last 3 times in the shoe and the last 3 out of 4 years somehow Tressel cant beat us, so before you go naming off all our close games and losses worry about your own corrupt program. When you've said Wisconsin you've said it all.

How does it feel to know that the happy cows live in California now?? Has that hurt cheese production?

Don't listen to OSU fans about the "atmosphere" in Madison...
Sure, Badger fans are fanatical at times, but when OSU came to town, they were undefeated coming off of their "national championship." They were arrogant and smug coming into the game thinking they could not be beat, and then couldn't take the hassling that went on after we beat them. Plus, our fans were pissed off about Reynolds' cheap choke shot, the cheapest shot that I have seen in a long time, in any sport.
My advice: make the trip to Madison, and decide for yourselves. I think you'll all have a good time!
