That would be cool. However, I think now that Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com exists, the need for others is at a low. Maybe when they click on the Bowling Green forum link, it should take them right to this site!kdog27 wrote:I'm not, this site is the best. Just saying it would be cool to have a big board like that with all teams represented and a lot of members.

More forums for the MAC and BGSU the better. Other forums give other people more of a chance to develop their own voices, not worry about rubbing more senior forum members the wrong way. Plus they do show BGSU and the MAC as developing a larger footprint on the net.
I think that having more forums helps create buzz, and the traffic at one, helps drive people to others as rumors and news breaks here and there. What will really help and advance things are the growing numbers of non-forum centered sites, which focus on history, pictures, news, etc.
I know Scout and Rivals both agreed that it was a good time to start a BGSU board. I had pitched to both and gotten along in the process of getting one or both sites activated. Then I backed off when I decided I'd rather just focus on my own website. I mostly wanted to post news and run a message board, not to really get deep into anything that gets near recruiting. If somebody with more time and recruiting interest wanted too, both sites could be running this year.
I still am told Fanblogs.com is going to do MAC blogs this year. I'm waiting for an update on that.
I'll almost certainly add forums of some limited kind to my site, less to compete and more to just round-out my domains overall scheme.
I honestly think there is room enough for a lot more on the web, and I don't see established boards like AZZ suffering at all. If anything a rising tide floats all ships.

The more the merrier. Personally, I hate most other boards... hate advertising, pop-ups, and smack-talking "other" fans who do nothing but troll for responses. Then again, I hate THIS site sometimes too!!
