On second glance at your pics... there's no MAC logo. Figured that was a "must have"....

I have a few things, and I just know Bleeding Orange will have something to say about my complaints

First, why can't we match oranges?? The orange on the BGSU on the wall, the orange on the falcon head at center cours, and the orange bordering the floor are all a different shade. My God, there are numbers that identify the colors of paint, just match the numbers! Second, paint the paint! Third, what conference do we play in? Do you think the conference office will fight hard to have our games on TV if we don't even have a consistent logo that would be shown with each time up and down the floor? Now lets hope they use the right tape for volleyball season and basketball practice so the paint does not come up. Other than that, the floor looks just alright.

I agree that the orange on the falcon in the center and the orange outline do look like different colors. Could this be because of all the brown around the center court falcon? Maybe it is just an illusion. :shrug:

I agree on painting the keys. Some brown in there would be sweet.

And the "BGSU" on the wall has GOT to be updated to the new font.

Thanks for posting the pics, Metz!!! I was afraid it would be the new bird head, glad it's still the traditional Falcon logo. While I do like the new bird head, I REALLY don't want to lose the traditional one....which is gradually being phased out, I am afraid.

It actually is the the new Falcon logo and not the traditional one! The one you are thinking of is only for retail items like clothing. Some of the coaches like the retail one and want it on uniforms but that is never going to happen. But if you look, it still is one of the new logos

With what Journey said, I have heard from people that DD didn't want the keys painted. If the keys were painted, the place just gets darker and looks smaller. Before you comment, think about it because it does make sense. Yes I think it would look cool, and yes it used to be orange, but I have to agree with DD on this one.

That is Dakich's right to think that, but I wonder what Coach Miller thinks? Since he is the one with 2 MAC titles! And yes the wall does need upgraded badly. And Odie, I want you to look up a word for all of us: SARCASM!

I think making AA appear smaller would be a good thing. We already have the Animals and other students right on top of the floor harassing the opponent already. Now if you made the facility "feel" even smaller to them, I think that is to our advantage. But that is just me.

I think the floor looks better which is nice to see. But I just wish we, like many other schools, had paint in the paint!!!

I also agree we need to do something with the north wall. I say we paint the entire thing orange with a big Falcon head on it!!!! That would really stand out, and there would be no doubt when you see that wall, it's Anderson Arena.

I was not sucking up. However, I am getting quite irritated by people bashing every upgrade BG does.

The floor is better than it was, be grateful! Saying "it looks good but could be better if..." is basically saying you don't like it. I can't wait until the SEBO center is built and everyone tears that up for not being up to personal standards. Really they could put blacktop down and paint every wall in there pea piss yellowish green but instead, they made imporvements. Baby steps people...baby steps

The belief is that the "retail only" version will eventually replace the traditional logo. I really hope that that never happens.
