The big house can get pretty insane. I've heard that they keep extra pants on hand so some of the freshman players can change into a fresh pair. Some of them literally wet themselves when they hit the fleld for the first time coming out of the tunnel.
Then again, I read somewhere that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon in 2001, it was some sort of missle fired by the air force.
You can really find some crazy s**t on the internet....

I saw the same thing...they had like a 10 min clip of why a plane couldn't have hit and why it was a missle.Flipper wrote:Then again, I read somewhere that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon in 2001, it was some sort of missle fired by the air force.

But anyway...I almost had to have a change of pants watching the Falcons take the field Saturday.

One game factor we can't overlook is that NIU has to be hungry. They have been very good the past two seasons, with nothing to show for it in terms of post-season play. Just like us, they have to see that the door to the West is open if you take it. That team and their fans are going to be hungry and desperate not to be left in the cold again.

I hope are guys are as confident as we are on this board, but just so they are not too confident. I think that was one of our downfalls last time we went there. We walked into Dekalb with a Top-25 ranking, undefeated, featured on ESPN and had beaten a couple BCS schools. NIU was up and down, lost at home to I-AA Western Illinois, but ready. That loss brought our season to a quick halt and we saw a great season turn sour in a flash. I wwasn no repeats of that this year again. I hope we go out there, jump all over them early, all just pull away convincingly.
GO BG!!!

Very busy right now though, it was much easier when I lived in BG, though I must say I did drive three hours just so I could be guaranteed a place to see our 1st game. I'll have to try out these sandwiches
Kdog, we'll have to hook up at the OU game. Let em know when you are gettign tickets, cuz im going to drive over from cinci for that one.

I think our run D will improve, Matt is a force on the line.

I have been to the big house twice. Once for the BG game four years back and for Washington vs. Michigan two years ago. That was one of the best games ever played in that stadium with Michigan winning on a FG in the final seconds something like 29-27. Only game I have seen that was better was a game with a final score of 27-26. Not impressed with their fans and college gameday was there. I give them credit for coming out in massive numbers, but they take naps during the games.Flipper wrote:The big house can get pretty insane. Sounds good to me. The good thing about ohio university is there is no "state" in it.BGSUfanatUT wrote:kdog27 wrote:there's a good chance I will get tickets there but I will let you knowBGSUfanatUT wrote:kdog27 wrote:These are the games I plan on attending: At temple, Ball St. at Ohio, EMU, Marshall.
