question for you all

Post by bg sports fan »

in the new game can guys transfer into your program or is it just out. I am starting my thirs season just bet pitt very good blanket them like 77-0 but i am on the JV style of play cuase i hate to lose :) I've won 2 MAC and MCB games beat buffalo 2 times for the mac and first year took out MSU in the bowl then last year took out the gophers last year. I got the shaft though i should have been playing for the NC but my strength of sce was pretty poor and i was only 10th in the BCS. I agree though with the whole other posts this gaem does rock :):):)

I assume you're talking NCAA Football 2005 ... don't know about kids transferring in, but that's a good question. Theoretically, if you can lose kids, you should be able to get them, too.

Hey, make the leap to Varsity. If you're thumping Pitt 77-0, the leap to Varsity won't be too bad. Getting to All-American might take a little doing. :D

For the record, in Year 1 the Falcons are undefeated going into the Marshall game.

Dream job: Playing NCAA Football 2005 and getting paid a 7-figure salary.

1987, Know anyone hiring for that position? If there is that kind of cash involved, maybe my wife would let me play then!

I'd happily take that job for what I make now!

Did I mention that my nephew is interning for EA Sports while he's at Purdue. No money yet, but looks like something may shake loose for next summer.

Get this, the main part of his job is to organize Madden tournaments and distribute free EA Sports goodies at Purdue bars. 8)

Can he get free copies of 2005? You know, If I get a free one, my wife really can't say much, could she?

Sorry! He did get me a bunch of graft for the EA Sports sleepover we have with the senior high kids at our church - demo copies of march madness 2004, posters, that kind of stuff. But, unfortunately, he doesn't get enough of the games to give them out. Believe me, I have a 6-year-old who's pretty anxious to get the new NASCAR Thunder game (and I have my eye on the new Tiger Woods).

That will likely be my next video game purchase as well. Although the ESPN NFL 2k5 is only $20 this year, and is actually on sale at Target for $15.88 I have heard. Never been a fan of the 2k series of football games, but wow...brand new game for $16 :)

2k5 has solid graphics, just as advertised, but, gameplay and such can't hold a candle to madden.

That has always been my problem with it as well. The gameplay always seemed too "arcadey" and I never really cared for it. In recent years the NCAA game has gotten so good that I never had a need for an NFL game as well. As a result I haven't played much of the NFL2k games or Madden for the past couple years. I don't play enough to justify 2 $50 purchases, but it might be worth picking it up for just $16...I still will probably not, however :)

Tiger Woods, on the other hand, looks to be awesome.

There's only one thing I can think of that's more boring than golf, and that's a video game that simulates golf.
