It is half time during the Ohio North-South football game (tape delay) on Fox Sports Ohio.
BG has 3 players in the game--Brady Minturn #78 DL, Kevin Mahoney #66 OL, and Chris Wright #8 r/db.
Minturn started at DL and he looks very good. He is BIG and moves well for his size.
Mahoney started at OL and is also BIG, listed at 6'6".
Not only are they BIG but they have large frames and looks like they can easily handle more weight.

As a broadcaster myself I must say I was dissappointed with the slant taken by the clowns in the booth. Granted the game is being played in Cowlumbus and the color dude was a Buckeye, but geeez take off the scarlett and grey shades.
Of the 68 players in the game 9 are attending tOSU but they seemed to mention Ohio State every other sentence.
They also keyed on the North's coach Brian Cross of Canton McKinley touting his coaching ability and even his playing days with the Youngstown Hardheads (or some b.s.) in semi-pro football, but no mention of his college days at lil old Bowling Green.
end rant....

N-S Game
The "color" guy was Jeff Logan, former RB for the "mighty Bucks", and one of the most biased announcers in sports. We all expect that college announcers will be homers to a point but OSU takes it to extremes and this broadcast was no exception...Watched part of game in my dad's hospital room though I knew how game had come out...had posted the results a week or so ago in one thread.
As to the "dude" from Akron, Tyrell Sutton is going to Northwestern on a FB scholarship...Don't know if you heard them talk about it, but he once rushed for 500+ yds in ONE GAME!!! He's short but tough and slippery at the same time....great combo for an RB. His brother played at Wooster and has had a FA tryout with the Browns I believe...but this kid seems like the real deal.

Re: N-S Game
Jeff Logan is a graduate of North Canton Hoover before Ohio State. His younger brother Jud is a four (i think) time Olympian and former world record holder in the hammer throw. Thave have another brother who missed a kick in the title that would've given Hoover the state championship in 1984 that Toledo St. Francis won. All of the Logans attended OSU, and their folks own a sporting goods store in North Canton. It's all about Ohio State at that place.Class of 61 wrote:The "color" guy was Jeff Logan, former RB for the "mighty Bucks", and one of the most biased announcers in sports. Also, FWIW, the attendence seemed paltry in Cowlumbus. I went to the game a few times when they had it at Paul Brown, and I've gotta tell you, the northeast Ohio crowds sure seemed to be bigger.
