In the thread I just read previous to this, everyone is moaning and groaning about the MAC being ranked by CFN too low, and here people think Bowling Green is becoming too good for the MAC. Which side of the fence is it? How can you stick up for a Conferene one minute then claim it's members aren't up to your school's level? People are being too narrow minded and only thinking about football. Do we look any bigger on the whole than a MAC School? Yeah I know the SEBO Center is huge but that will only bring us up to the level of the OTHER MAC schools who we are just now catching up to right now facility wise. BG will never be in the Big 10, which would make them a MAC member for rougly forever, which is fine with me.

Yup, three to four 9-3 type seasons in one sport is not going to do anything. We are not too good for the MAC, if we were, we would be running away with things every year.

Please stop the lets leave the MAC talk. Growing up I lived near Huntington, WVa, which meant I got a big dose of Herd talk and I even liked the Herd. Until they decieded to join the MAC. From day one it was we are too good for the MAC we need to be in Con. USA. It showed their arrogance and lack of respect and knowledge for every team.

When I hear this talk all I think about is how we sound like Herd fans. Look where they are now; playing Rice, East Carolina and other such schools. The MAC still does not get respect, but we are growing every year.

I see three possibilities: Stay in a stronger MAC; MAC splits in two, BG is in stronger group; MAC splits in two, BG stuck in weaker group.

I hope for #1 above. This conference is better with Kent State in it. We need to keep getting better in the field and courts and get increased revenue. I don't want to be the Big 10 - but I want to be closer to them.

Amen. And we didn't even win the MAC this year or last. The MAC breaking up could be very very bad for us.

Just when I was starting to feel guilty for referring to y'all as "Little Huntington on the Prairie." Thanks!
