It is a double elimination tournament until you make the championship game. When the two teams for the championship game are set (Texas vs UF/ASU), then it switches to a best of three series. Whichever team wins two games, regardless of a previous loss or not, wins the tournament. They did this for the NCAA softball series this season as well, where Michigan had one loss coming into the championship games and UCLA had zero. Both teams finished the tournament with two losses apiece, but since Michigan won the best of three series they were crowned the champs. Here is a link to how the bracket is set up. http://www.cwsomaha.com/html/playball/bracket.asp
Seriously, I am going to go home and take my "smart pill." I forgot to take it this morning.
By the way, before anyone busts me for "breaking the rules" again, sorry to all for not posting this thread in the "Other Schools" forum.

As an impartial observer, I feel that comment deserves a ZING :ZING:
The other schools forum is where I go to talk to myself.
Yes it is time for football & BG better not let me down. My husband's school doesn't have a prayer of winning the Big 12, and those stupid Longhorns will probably get another BCS bowl bid. Thanks for rubbing it in freak!
