Camping Out in Overflow

Post by SaxyIrishTenor »

So, I come from a camping family and Dad asked me if he was allowed to camp out in Overflow the night before a game to start his tailgating early. As I have never tailgated except for Spring game, I have to defer the question to you all.

Can you bring a mini-camper or tents and have at it in Overflow the night before the games? I think it would complete my Dad's experience as a BGSU parent, save for me walking at graduation and all.

I know people who have camped out in the lots before so I assume yes. However, that was before the NIU game when GameDay was here so I dunno for sure.

Happy Campers

There are campers parked in both the North and East lots the night before every game. It shouldn't be a problem for your family.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I've never taken a camper or tent out there, but we spent the night in the lot for the NIU game. We just crashed in the trucks, but we were out there all night. There are usually campers out there though, so I have to believe that its cool.

I have taken an RV and parked it out there the night before a game. You can do it! I actually called campus police to verify before I did it.

I think Myles Pizza will deliver out there too!

I camped out before the NIU game night before GameDay. Not sure if Myles delivers out there, but Mr. Spots, made 3 trips. However, they were a little disturbed that I could not give them the actual address of where my camper and tent were.
