New hats available at www.lids.com and probably at their locations in malls as well. . . .

I hope that is just a bad picture because our colors are orange and BROWN, not orange and BLACK!

Well, according to the Product details from Lids, the colors are indeed orange, black and white. they use brown on other hats, not sure why they didn't with these two.

My first impression was "Baltimore Orioles". :vom:

all zephyr hats like that are great, b/c they are fitted but they stretch in the back and feel really comfortable without looking dumb at all, especially backwards!

I GREATLY dislike the new logo. Also, I prefer adjustable hats and the only one lids had available is called "Coed". Um, that isn't my style. Plus, the orange is outlined in black, not brown.

Yeah, I'm with you guys that new logo isn't my style. However, you can see how the new logo could catch the eye of young people and help promote bgsu so that's always good!

the new logo is not as good as the old one, and the hats are cool, coming from an 18yr old that has lots of fitted hats all from lids.com, including 3 BG hats, 2 PU, 2 ND, and other non college football hats

I like the new-era falcon logo, but those two hats....ehhhhh, not so much-I'd rather go with the classic look.

You guys sound like a bunch of old farts! 5 years ago Lids didn't even carry BG Hats. The store in North Olmsted has about 10 different types now. I applaud their creativity and willingness to provide a variety of BG products.

I think it's kickass, and I hope they come out with 20 more different types. Hell, I don't care if the colors are blue and red - it just means that we are now on the map.

Another positve step towards building a stronger program.

That's it! I'm buying one!

How much does the one in North Olmsted sell them for?

I like the new falcon head on certain things, that hat in particular. I think I would also like to see that design in brown though, but am undecided if I really even like the color patterning. I love the old falcon head, but I think in the next couple of years they really need to pick one style. And for what its worth, when I was on the water polo team we had blue hats.
