I had planned on buying Madden this year instead of NCAA, but I think I'll end up buying both of them. Madden is a better single person game, but NCAA online ROCKS!

I don't remember what my screenname is, I'll let you know when I get it on & hooked up.

maybe we should have a little celebration get-together tournament next week one night. I am picking up my copy tuesday on the way home from work. It'd be nice to test it out with some BG vs BG matchups =)

So what is the deal with only releasing it for Xbox and PS2? What about GameCube or PC? :?

If I remember correctly, GC has a delay for NCAAF.

And, unfortunately, EA stopped making the NCAAF games for PC since like NCAA '99

Falcon vs Rocket matchup???

Post by TJRocket »

Anyone interested in a couple of I-75 matchups? It would be nice to play some Falcon fans who dont run like little girls(like the few Falcon fans that I challenged online)

There is a wireless adaptor for the PS2, but I've heard that online gameplay is REALLY laggy over WiFi. I haven't tried it myself, but I read that from multiple sources awhile back. I bit the bullet and ran Network cable from one end of my house to the other, because I didn't want to rely on wireless for gaming. It's great for surfing & poker though :)

I would DEFINITELY be up for some BG-UT matchups once I get mine hooked up. I love to play MAC games online, but usually when I find somebody with a MAC logo I challenge them and it ends up being BG vs USC or some crap.

When I first read that, I thought it said "great for surfing porn". Considering the source, I thought that was correct.

I agree with the whole tournament thing. I know hammb likes to gamble, so I'm guessing he'd be up for a $10 or so buy in, winner takes all tournament. Now, who has a house where we can do this kind of stuff? Lets give everyone a week or so, and then maybe some of us could get together and play a tournament. I know my brother and I would be in if it fits into our schedules.

I have a 30 inch widescreen flatpanel LCD TV but not a whole lot of room. I'd be in for any evenings and any amount of cash.

A house with atleast four decent sized TV's would work. A decent amount of room wouldn't hurt. Others could bring their systems and the game.

I've got a 52" Widescreen TV that has the PS2 hooked up through the sound system & with Component Cables...very sexy. That's in my living room and has a decent amount of room with a couple couches, etc.

My bedroom is considerably smaller but has a 27" Sony Wega, you could use that as a second TV if you wanted. My second PS2 doesn't work right anymore so somebody would have to bring one, and there is no sound system in the bedroom.

My roommate has a 27" TV, not sure if he'd offer up his Bedroom or not. We also have a 19" TV with an RF adaptor that we could set up, with enough extra room in the living room for a second set of players, I think.

I'd be up for hosting something like this, but I'm not sure about when. Summer weekends are getting pretty busy with some upcoming parties/gettogethers & weddings, etc. Sundays & Friday nights are relatively free. Of course you'd have to give me a month or two to clean up the house ;) LOL

If anyone's interested it does sound like a good time to me.

We've had NCAA & Madden tournaments at our church. We start in the early evening and play 'til dawn!

Best part is we set up several TVs in Fellowship hall and bring down the couches from the youth rooms. Then we pull down the big movie screen and project the "main" game on it and pump the sound through the Peavey amps. When the crowd goes wild, the whole place literally shakes!
