Sign For Back of Scoreboard

Post by Dayons_Den »

I know I am not the only one who thinks the back side (facing Wooster St.) of the new board looks unfinished. IT appears there are walkways for servicing the board, but space that could allow for a tarped banner to be placed over that to

a. hide the walkways and unfinished look
and
b. give the outsdie of the stadium the signage it once had and still deserves.

It really wouldn't be that hard to do something like this:

I know it is minimal and sounds like whining after already getting a nice nwe working board, but I wish they would add something to that side of the board. . .

I agree that something should be added to the scoreboard. Although the SEBO will be the "front entrance" to the stadium, the scoreboard is really the face of the stadium from Wooster. What you show would be a big improvement.

That back is VERY nice! I like that a lot! I didn't know your scoreboard was so tiny! Oh well, it is nice, and they can expand it. The Sebo is gonna make that stadium stand out in the country. :D

For the love of all that is holy PLEASE send that to Paul Krebs. I love it. I would like to see a message board worked into that as well. As long as it remains unhacked

I liked how the old one had those lights that told you what was going on and when the next game was. We should get something like that. I went to emu my frosh year and they have one of those things at the convo and by one of the roads that goes into campus. Telling people what's happening on campus might help relations between the university and the city.

I love the idea. But don't you guys think that the Athletic Dept. would want to go with the new Falcon Head?

That IS the new Falcon head (which is an outlined version of the traditional one)...not the new bird head that is "supposed" to be for retail ONLY......
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
