New Logo Hats @ Lids.com

I haven't seen this one at Great Northern, but I have purchased about 6 different ones and they usually run $20 bucks.

I don't know what size to get though?? My other fitted hat I think is a 7 1/4 maybe....what would that be comparable to? The S/M or M/L??

get the M/L, i wear 7 1/2 and the M/L fits me very well

For the record, I do like the new logo, but not the way it is presented on those two hats. Especially with them being black instead of brown.

yea no problem glad i could help, and for all those not liking the colors you should see what colors they have for other schools, i've seen PU hats in baby blue and pink! orange/black/white doesnt look that bad together considering others that are out there..

The new logo has grown on me, but I agree with you here Warthog. The hats are just UGLY. There's too many stripes or something...too much going on for me. The fact that its black instead of brown only enhances my distaste for them.

The black and white one is not too bad. But the other one has the brown and orange of the falcon head reversed from the actual retail logo. But they kept an orange layer around the inside edge. By doing that, they made it much harder to see clearly what the logo actually is.

Wonder if that isn't a violation of the copyright or something to switch the colors like they did? :shrug: I know where I work, we are very strict about use and presentation of our logo. I can't believe the University would go to the trouble of developing this new, distinctive, retail logo and then just let the first vendor that comes along bastardize it like this.

I like the new logo. However, they way they f-ed up the colors on the non black and white one is ridiculous. I would never buy something as fouled up as that hat, and I am desperate to get Falcon gear here in NE Ohio.

It is an ugly hat, and It isn't even our logo.

Well look at our own bookstore. They sell BG shirts that our anything from hotpink to lime green. The last time I was in BG that was the first thing you saw when you walked in there. I will take black and orange over that.

i agree and once and for all the black and orange was not done on accident by the people at lids b/c they dont know our colors, b/c they sure as heck do know our colors they just intentionally made it look that way for style purposes
