"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Really, Warthog! What the heck?
I remember, as a freshman, watching the student section bombard the opposition, starting with the "Who's he?" ... "Nobobdy" from behind the newspapers.
One game, in particular, stands out. I believe it was against UIC. Anyway, it's a pretty tight game, a defensive struggle. Midway through the second period, the goalie starts slapping his stick on the ice. If he slapped three times, the students clapped (in unison) three times. If he did it twice, they did it twice. Anyway, the goalie gets wise to it and starts to play along, slapping with different rhythms, etc. Finally, he did a little ditty and the crowd didn't clap, instead responding in unison, "Can't you count any higher than that?" The kid fell apart, giving up a bunch of goals in the span of a few minutes. It go so bad that the coach finally yanked him and, of course BG won.
I know that's not a story of seeing BG on the road, but since hockey came up, I coudn't resist.

Let me know what games you might go to....I usually sell 50/50 at hockey and hoops but I think this coming year I'll sell just for hoops. I hate missing the whole 1st period of hockey games to sell 50/50 tix. The Freaklings and I will go to at least 3-4 hockey games this coming year.
