My only reservation about a contest is that there are a lot of "rules" when making things with any connection to BGSU athletics that must be followed. Our athletic department was great about working with me last year and helping when needed, but I'm just afraid we'd come up with a great design and wouldn't be able to use it.Dayons_Den wrote:Maybe this could be an annual contest and the members of the site could vote on which design would be the shirt for the season and we could all wear them like they do at UMich and ND for their games. . . .
The NCAA has even more regulations we need to be aware of.
My mental design doesn't have any kind of copyright issues what-so-ever...so maybe rather than a contest, we could just collaborate on the idea. I don't know. I'll keep thinking.

Ahh yes rules and regulations a plenty with ath. depts. and the NCAA.... makes sense... Funny we are talking about something like this and the tent idea I was thinking how fun it would be to have an annual fund-raising dinner type thing at say the Ice Arena Lounge to either raise money for the site or for the Doyt L. Perry bronze statue!! heheZiggyZoomba wrote: My only reservation about a contest is that there are a lot of "rules" when making things with any connection to BGSU athletics that must be followed. Wow, if we raised money for a statue, we'd become instant heroes on campus, no doubt about it. I bet it'd be quite pricey though...
