We met in law school in MI, so he was excited to scope out UM & Michigan State's stadiums. He was duly impressed After we graduated though, we had to go up to a wedding in Columbus. It was one of the guys he played with, & a bunch of them wanted to see OSU's stadium. About 6 of the guys & their wives (including me) went up to the Horseshoe. I had been there a bunch, but none of them had ever seen it.

ALL 6 of the guys said what a total s*#thole that place was. A security guard came by & ran us off, my H said "don't worry, we're leaving. This place sucks!"
there is a lot of history in ohio stadium and it is one of the biggest in the country.. i'd say UofM, tennessee and ohio state are the top 3 in the country. love em or hate em..ohio stadium a shithole? i think NOT

I'm going to tell you the city. I'm far too lazy this evening to look up the stadiums' monikers.

BG
Miami
Ball State
Western Michigan
Toledo
Akron
Kent
Columbus
Fresno (ever see Chia Turf? I did)
Las Vegas
Morgantown

Those are the venues where I have actually seen football being played (although that is purely subjective since some of the experiences were during the Moe Ankney era. CURSE YOU MOE ANKNEY!)

two questions. 1) I notice Duke being mentioned a lot, what games did you see them play? I used to have season tickets there, and trust me, not very many people show up to see them, so I'm surprised that 2 or 3 others here have, unless we had a series with them like a decade or so ago. 2) for those who have been to UVA's stadium, which games?

I've watched a game in:
Scott Stadium (UVA)
Lane Stadium (vt)
Wallace Wade Stadium (Duke)
Kenan Memorial Stadium (unc)
Carter-Finley Stadium (nc state)
Doak Campbell Stadium (fsu)
Liberty's stadium (LU, but I only watched state championship high school games there, never seen a college game)

I've also been to Doyt Perry and Ohio stadium, and went to FedEx field in DC last year for the USC (west)/vt game, and Charlotte for the Tire Bowl 2 years ago...This will be interesting for me going to a game and not seeing an ACC team for the first time.

I don't make the news (usually), I just report it. The only other comment the boys had which I found extremely amusing was "what's up with all those ugly trees?" I couldn't stop laughing long enough to explain it.

Where are they from again? I don't like tOAMU, and I think Ohio Stadium is a beautiful stadium, probably one of the most beautiful in the country. It is one of the loudest, and largest(3rd-behind Michigan Stadium, and Neyland Stadium.)

I think Kyles Field is pretty cool myself.

I have been to:
Doyt(no game)
Glass Bowl(no game)
Nippert Stadium
Yager Stadium
Rubber Bowl(no game)
Michigan Stadium(no game)
Ohio Stadium(no game;yet)
Independence Stadium
UVA's stadium(no game)
VTech's stadium(no game)
USC(East)(no game)
Clemson(no game)
UNC(no game)
Peden Stadium(sucks)
Commonwealth Stadium(UK)(no game)
Mountaineer Field(no game)
IU Memorial Stadium(no game, or crowd when there are games)
Ball State Stadium(no game)
I think that is it.... I'll bet there is like one or two more, but I can't think of them...

OSU's stadium (101568 seats) is currently the fourth largest, with PSU's (107282 seats) being the second behind michigan (107501 seats). I haven't seen all that many stadiums, but beaver stadium is impressive, mostly because most of it is above ground, truly a big building.

I lived in North Carolina and had a friend who was a Duke grad. He owned season tickets.

Durham is not a very safe place. One night we had been enjoying the sites of Durham and he had left his Duke football season tickets on the front dash of his car. When we got out of the club, someone had broken the front windshield of his car. They left another pair of Duke football tickets.

Are you reffering to the Ohio State University stadium or Ohio University stadium? I am assuming that it is tOSU which by the way is called the Horseshoe. I have been to Ohio U, Toledo, BG(of course), Miami(OH), tOSU, Hienz Field, Ford Field, and Baldin Wallace(D-3).

We had a corporate function at Beaver Stadium and it is quite impressive.

Ohio State's stadium is "Ohio Stadium."

Ohio's stadium is "Peden Stadium."

I think since they closed the one end, it should be renamed "The Toilet Seat".
