Getting more fans at that game has always been fairly easy inthe past, don't know why this year would be different. ;)

I think I'm in.

As you might think, Joyce and I should be a "go" for the game...and the postgame festivities...But we must talk to Metz and point out that I have "seniority" (in more ways than one) re: "special seating" in the Falcon Room.
You have a point there, Den. I'll try to put as many chairs down in the Sports Nest as possible. Now I wish it was a much bigger room! I may have to move the Nest up to the living room. I'm sure Mrs Freak would love that! Should be a great post game celebration. And if anyone shouldn't drive home, we have room to crash.

BGSU Crazy Fan 58,
I remember taking that pic! Looking forward to seeing it soon.

GO FALCONS!! 45+ days and counting....

Getting more bg fans there than kent fans definitely hppened the last time BG played a game there. It will likely happen again. Thanks for the invite freak. It's still too soon for me to tell what i'll be up to come tht point of the season.

Decisions...decisions........

Awesome idea, Freak, but not sure if we will be able to take you up on the post game offer. The hockey team plays DUH Mavs from Omaha that weekend in BG. We have only hosted those hosers twice and have had to travel out there waaaay toooo many times . Don't think I could stand to miss that one, but might come to the game though.....

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

FF,
I totally understand about DUH Mavs....Hockey comes first in the FF/BGFan household.
I just figured if people here are heading over to the game, why not see about a post game get together? We only get so many Tailgate opportunities a year.

BTW, how many days til the puck drops?

Well I wasn't planning on road tripping as much for football this year, but that just sounds too tempting! I'll probably be up for that game too!

Kent State???? Oh most definately!!! Logan and I will be in attendence with an ETA out of Wadsworth of only 40 minutes.

Freak your in Green, right. That's only, what another 20 minutes south on 77 once we double back on 76.

Kent State actually has a warm spot in our hearts. We consider the 2002 game as the "modern era" of Legacy boys undefeated streak at BGSU games ( we discount his first game since he was 3 and fell asleep during a most hellatious comeback against Akron a few years before). That was the first time we saw Josh and Cole in action.

Then we wised up and realized that 2.5 hours wasn't so far away to see home games, nor was Detroit, Ohio Univ, or for that matter Mobile Alabama.

Plus he'll "school" all of you in EA Sports NCAA. Now let's get serious about away games....anyone want to caravan up to Buffalo from Montrose, Ohio?
That will be a day of Heisman like stats.

BG Alumni Association will have a pregame event near the stadium for Kent area BG fans. Coupled with a big win, this should set the stage for the massive postgame event at our main Falcon Freak's place.

Social event of the year.

Go Falcons!

I'm planning on going to that game to hang out with Kent's TBS colony. Depending on how plans shape up with them, I might just have to stop by. :)
