Has anyone actually ever heard why the Sentinel doesn't have a Web site? I'm not being snide, just wondering, as someone who works for a media company. :?:

Don't be silly, 87!!! It's not like ANYONE can get a website. And do you realize how much domain names alone cost!?!

TG:

We had our annual leadership retreat a few weeks back and we had a consultant make a great presentation. It basically showed that newspaper Web sites are almost all (and by almost, I mean almost 90% of them) profitable and that papers the size of the Sentinel are profitable at an even higher rate.

* sigh *

It amazes me how many people are in business, but not in the game.

Seriously. They could very easily put banner ads up for local advertisers, or even some cheesy "click-thru" ad if they felt the need and make up the administrative costs in a heartbeat.
