Krebs gets a contract extension
Tuesday's Sentinel had a story about Krebs contract being extended. It is a five year contract which was retroactive to 7/1/2004 and expires 6/30/2009. Base salary is $140,454 with bonuses based on team performance and acedemic achievement.

He deserves every penny and then some. I have gotten in his face in the past but I have nothing but respect for the job he has done. Some of the decisions he has had to make I don't think I could have. We are lucky he wanted to come back home to Bowling Green. I can't wait to see where we will be at the end of his second "5 year plan." It's always a great day to be a Falcon, but Paul's leadership has made those days a little brighter.

Ditto to everything Matt said - and then some.
Paul is one of the best and most compassionate leaders I have ever had the pleasure to have met. I am convinced that his vision and leadership is almost solely responsible for the resurgance of nearly every one of our athletic programs. The only times that I wish we were a Michigan or an OSU, etc. is when I think about how much we are paying Paul for the job he is doing. He deserves much, much more, and we are very VERY lucky that he loves BGSU as much, if not more, than all of us do.

Its all good!
Definitly! Keeping Krebs is as crucial as keeping a good coach. Maybe more so cuz coaches allways leave at some point after awhile unless your Michigan or USC.
