Doesn't CUSA pay for some of its bowl bids--seems like I remember that from somewhere. If they do, then they may not be in the jeopardy you think.
Remember, the bowl games have noting to do with competition.

I believe that, historically, they've leveraged their NCAA tournament dough into propping up bowl games. That money is going to start to dry up. Their TV contract has held its value though, at least for now.
