McLeod contract news

Post by Warthog »

From the Salt Lake Tribune:

"The Jazz have tendered a $937,500 qualifying offer to restricted free agent Keith McLeod, meaning they have the right to match any offer he receives.
McLeod was the Jazz's starter at point guard most of last year, when Carlos Arroyo was traded to Detroit and Raul Lopez struggled though another injury-plagued season. But it is not clear how high the Jazz would go if McLeod receives a substantial offer from another team."

It'd be great for BGSU basketball if two of their alums signed large contracts this off season. Like I said on the other thread, the more they make the more they may give back (we need a new convo center in my opinion).

I wonder if Antonio has or would give BG money, or if anyone has ever contacted Antonio about donating money to BG? With this new contract he's about to sign, coupled with the money he's already made in his playing career, he is certainly a very wealthy young man. It would be nice.

I bet AD would donate just enough to pave the "star athlete parking spot", six feet behind the back door of AA.
