I got a kick outta Gradkowski as the PhallicMan..err... RocketMan. I expecially loved the "I wonder if they made Roethlisberger do this." comment at the end of that commercial.

Answer to his question, they didn't force him to, he volunteered. Then he went Pro.

I REALLY doubt that. You will have to show me though sometime!

Their QB still looks like the guy from UHF. And what’s stutz the hutt trying to do in the one shot? It looks like he is trying to pee on a fire hydrant.

Ugh. I just hate hearing them referred to as the "MAC Champion Rockets".

I have a videography background. I would love to have the chance to make some BGSU commercials.

I've worked in TV for the better part of 10 years (including a couple years assisting with commercial production), and I would love that chance, too. I can't believe how many ideas have shot through my head in the last week or so since this idea came up first.

I wonder what, if any, restrictions there are on using kids to promote the University? I keep getting this thought of Omar throwing TD passes to kids, even as a lone ad to promote the Kids Club. Or if Brian McClure is around somewhere to do something goofy with Omar (esp. seeing how its the 20th anniversary of the undefeated regular season in 1985). And I still like the "Field of Dreams"-ish idea I had in an earlier thread. Our target audience is from rural NW Ohio, why not play up the cornfield angle a little?

Give me a video crew, an afternoon and a cooler of beer and I bet we make stuff happen.

I want to do something dramatic, but not so overdone it's cheesy.

Something with the mood along the lines of a serious Nike commercial.

If anyone has any connections that could get a project like this off the ground, let TG and I know. we could get something started.

I have experience in both videography and non-linear editing using Final Cut, Media100 and Adobe Premiere (the latter of which I own), and experience in audio production.

I also have compositing and post production digital effects experience, and my fiance is a computer animation graduate from the Art Institute of Colorado.

I'm sure we have a large enough pool of talent to get something done.

My idea:

Open with Omar on the beach in Florida.

Cut to Omar walking accross a snowy, windy, BG campus and have him bundled up and say "I left florida, for this??!!!"

Then show highlights and cut to omar sayin, "Naw, I left Florida for THIS!" cut to more highlights, td passes etc.
all bowling green
