he's received none of the 3 votes in Alaska. Looks like the Magner boys need to make some phone calls.

I don't like their choices. I'm protesting. Remove Gradkowski, insert Betts and I'll vote.

Much better. Though he only has 8 votes in Arizona. What did we plant a spy in that state for if its not going to give us results in goofy ESPN polls!?!?!?!?!

Our buddy the Douchmonkey is doing a chat on ESPN now. Here is one Q & A:

mike (logan): Who do you look up to as an analyst?

Trev Alberts: (1:28 PM ET ) No one. I look at myself.

More from the Douchemonkey chat...

Jake, Rexburg, Idaho: Last year Utah broke into the BCS, who is the most likely non-BCS team to challenge the system.

Trev Alberts: (1:33 PM ET ) I hope we don't have a Utah this year. Not sure if you caught the Pittsburgh-Utah game .. didn't do much for me. Is that what we want? You want everybody to have a fair shot, but on New Year's you want a GOOD GAME. That game stunk. Then again, so did the national championship game. Boise St. could ruffle some feathers. But with so much consilidation in the conferences, it's hard to say.

If I remember correctly, the reason for the blow out was not Utah, it was a BCS school.

What, exactly, is his claim? Is it:

(a) "we" don't want "a Utah" because they were too good?
(b) "we" don't want "a Utah" because it was their fault that they played Pitt?
(c) "we" don't want "a Utah" because the Big East sucked last year?
(d) I (meaning Trev) am the dumbest POS this side of Skip Bayless.

To wrap up the Douchemonkey chat . . .

Trev Alberts: (1:46 PM ET ) Look, I'm not going to chat again for several weeks but I'm all about personal growth and development .. so if you can give me some honest criticsm about how I can be a better analyst, I'll take it. Honestly. Tell me what you like, don't like, etc. and I'll take it into consideration.

The power of the OU game?

Did you happen to notice that Omar is winning the states you'd expect him to, in and around Ohio & Florida. But then he is also dominating the voting in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Louisiana :)

i love the map feature. it makes me feel like i'm watching a presidential election. we need tim russert with either a telestrator or a dry erase board. there's no doubt that omar's performance at ou last year opened up some eyes in the lower midwest, and rightfully so.

i also love that gradkowski is getting almost no love. people outside of toledo realize that, frankly, he's not that good. he's just a product of the system.

i think omar should be orange, not zabransky. he should be blue.

Tell me about it. I'm trying to get Kentucky over to Omar's side. We're almost there. A few more hours of me voting and using my vast network of connections in Kentucky and I think we can get there. Oklahoma (63%) is indeed full of Omar converts after last season's showing.
