Along with the praise being paid to Anthony, I would like to throw in my 2 cents worth. Corey and Anthony were roommates all last year. I have had an opportunity to be around Anthony a couple of times, not just the normal 'Hi Anthony, how you doing', I am talking a few hours visit. He actually went with Corey and I to watch us play a couple of volleyball matches.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:First series at Camp Randall I want to see a shotgun, 2-back set consisting Omar Jacobs at QB flanked by Partridge and Turner.
Imagine the possibilities....(best mad scientist laugh)
Anthony is a great guy. I can't say enough of the impression he makes when he is around. He is very nice and friendly. I was very impressed with his spring game and think we all can feel very good about who will be taking over for Omar when he leaves.
As for this 2-back set idea. Omar flanked by Turner and Partridge, that's kinda funny, what is PJ spread out wide at receiver? lol...
Here's a little update on Corey. During summer break, Corey developed mono. He was not allowed to do any running or lifting for 3-4 weeks. He lost his appetite and to tell the truth looked to have lost alot of muscle mass.
Well that changed once he was allowed to get back into it. Corey began eating everything he could get his hands on. And I guess they have really been pushing him hard in the weight room. Corey has put on about 15 pounds since the spring game, he is weighting in around 198. My only concern is for his speed and agility. If he can keep what he showed in the spring game with the added weight, Look Out!!!!
I told him that he should watch out that they would make him into a safety if he wasn't careful.
Can't wait to whip the Badgers....
