Fall Camp opens Aug 6th
Anyone know what time that first day of drills is supposed to start? I am thinking of throwing the Freaklings is the new Freakstyle and heading up. I can't wait until freakin 10/1 to get up there for Falcon Football! Every other weekend is booked thru the summer...but not 8/6-8/7.
Thanks and GO FALCONS!!

Ah. I think I'm making the pilgrimage to NW Ohio the 10th, 11th, 12th, I totally forgot about practice going on by then!

We're making our annual trip to NE Ohio from Aug. 12-19. Maybe Noah & I can swing over to BG for one day to check out camp! Any idea of schedules, times, etc.? Are workouts open to the public?

I don't know if they actually publish the schedule, but in the past I've stopped by after work (about 5:30ish), and was able to watch some of practice. So long as you're not taking pictures you won't have any problems at all. If you are taking pictures, just e-mail coach Brandon, tell him you're creating a heisman hype website, and he'll be more than generous with allowing you to snap some photos.1987alum wrote:Yo, Freak:Falconfreak90 wrote:Anyone know what time that first day of drills is supposed to start? The one time I tried to get some pictures I was told by one of the assistant coaches that I couldn't without permission from coach Brandon. At the time I was hoping to get some shots for the harris4heisman site. I e-mailed coach Brandon that evening about it, and he responded later that evening that he fully supported the idea and I could take all the pictures I wanted.BGSUVA wrote:I think only media is allowed to bring in cameras...
Brandon is very accomodating if you have a reason for the pics. Not sure if you could get permission if you just wanted some pics for yourself.
If you can live without photos you shouldn't have any problem driving on up to watch some of practice. If you're a football die hard its fun as heck. Those that are only casual fans would likely think it the most boring thing in the world.

That is weird to hear that they do not allow pictures. When I was in high school, our football team took a trip to Columbus to watch The Ohio State University have preseason practice at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. It was Katzenmoyers last year. I took a camara, as did a few of my teammates, and they did not say a word to us. I even got my picture taken with Joe Germaine.

87,
Like 33 said, they should post the practice sked on the official site. Where in NE Oh are you gonna be? You and Noah are more than welcome to stop by the Freak House! Let me know what ya think.

Freak: We'll be in Hudson. A shorter stay than normal (usually we're in for 10-12 days, this time a shade under a week). Let me work out the itinerary with the CEO (that's Mrs. 87, of course) and touch base with you!Falconfreak90 wrote:Really? Hmmm....guess we may have to wait til Sunday. As a former Hudson lacrosse coach, I can tell you that you're very close to Sagamore Hills also.... maybe we should have a "Falcon Reunion" at either my place or Mike's place... My neighbor has a small pond that the boys could fish in if you've got the time. Lots of Bluegills and several nice bass available if they're hitting. I'm willing to HOST a cookout type thing if you guys are interested....Mike, this goes for you, Dana and the boys too.
