Picture off the SAC sign from the SEMO game?

Being a band geek, I have to comment about the North endzone seating. Since they just moved us down there and now everyone loves the fact that they can hear us, maybe they should have real seating for the band there. If the team was to come out of the SAC like they do at Ball State, then they could put the tunnel by the North endzone through the middle bottom of the stands and the team could come flying out of there. I guess the stands would look like an upside down U shape, with squared off corners of course, over the tunnel. This is just the vision I am seeing because I really hate sitting in the lovely high school bleachers in the endzone now!

Ditto. The SAC really should include some sort of permanent seating for the band. Peden Stadium (Ohio U) has that type of setup. They have pavilion seating directly behind the band as well, I believe.

There could be a whole pavilion walkway thing up on top the SAC. Then with the field goals, it'd be like the rooftop apartments across from Wrigley Field! I could see someone getting hurt going for a football through so maybe that would be a bad idea.

And our band has come a long way in just the time that i've been here. Not to take anything away from people in the past, but this band director has her stuff together. The band sounds so good now, and the new location is prime time.

Sorry it's late and I didn't read all of the posts, but are we going to use the "traditional" Falcon as depicted in the drawings or the Cartoonish one that we borrowed from Miami and "Space Ghost" . . . You know, since it's the Athletic's logo and all . . . I did have to fork over $45 for one of the new spiffy Adidas Coaches' shirts though with the shoulder stripes and the Space Ghost logo and "athletic" font . . . You can get yours at the Union bookstore or the new BG on Main store!! It's the one the coaches wore in the Doyt(white) and Oklahoma(orange).
