Saw this on our board tonight, and had to come over and offer condolences to his family and BG folk alike. Sometimes in our zeal of following a sport, we forget how fragile life really is. Same with the Bethune-Cookman player who passed away, and the other kid who took a nasty shot and is in a medically induced coma.

This is definitely sad news. My prayers go out to his family and friends. I saw an ambulance go by the marching band fields today during practice and didn't even really think much about it. I feel really bad and am shocked that this could happen to someone so soon. What a sad day for BG...

I will never be able to take the death of people in their prime well. They haven't even had a chance to life life, and they're gone. The sadness is so heavy and overwhelming. My heart goes out to his family and friends, but most I feel for is parents. Their prized creation is gone and there are no words for that kind of devestation.

I too would like to send my condolences through this site to the family of this young man. To know that the BG community has lost a young person is always a sad day, and is something that you have to take a step back and take a deep breath, and realize how wonderful life really is, and also how fragile it is. It seems like this happening to often at BG lately with our young athletes. Last year BG lost the freshman on the womens soccer team, and now this young man is taken in his prime. May we all take time to say a prayer for him and his family as we get ready for bed tonight, and the next couple of days.

Our prayers are with the Richardson family. As the parent of two sons, I can only imagine the grief they must be feeling. Please know that all of us in the Bowling Green community offer our most sincere condolences.

Apparently, Aaron had already had some impact in his short time at BG as I spoke with a fellow freshmen from his residence hall last night who said he was very well liked and would be very greatly missed. She said her RA and hall people had called a special meeting and discussions were being held concerning a special memorial rememberance for Aaron.

I am sure the University will be a much more somber place today and thoughts and prayers will be with his family and friends.

Prayers for Aaron

Words come poorly at a time like this. Nothing sounds good, nothing really eases the pain. Prayers of the Sooner Nation go out for Aaron, his family and our friends at BG.

This is such a sad, sad story. My thoughts and prayers go out to Aaron and his family and friends. My fiancee called me this morning to tell me the news after she heard it in the radio on her way to work. Here's in a more detailed article about Aaron and what happened.

My heart and prayers go out to the Richardson family. Nothing I can say will make the family feel better. The Falcon family lost a great man.

The smile, the attitude, and the personality, from what it sounds like.

My thoughts as well, to anyone that needs them. It sounds like this kid had alot of friends, young and old.

It's already underway. I've got some money in the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com account and will be sending a floral arrangement to the services with condolences from "The BGSU Falcon Family at Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com"

I'm also going to send the family a copy of this thread and any other posts that offer well-wishes and support, just to let them know that they're NOT alone and that Aaron was a member of this Falcon Family.

Thanks for bringing it up.

Thank for sending the arrangement and thanks for posting the picture. One can tell that this young athlete will continue to touch others. God bless him.
