CCHA/WCHA hockey blog

Post by TG1996 »

Just came across this, I'm sure some of you that hang out around the CCHA/college hockey boards have heard of it, but I wanted to share, anyway.

http://westerncollegehockey.blogspot.com/

First out of the gate when I visited doesn't sound like good news...

I had my doubts whether Jonathan would come back with his brother gone. At this point I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's just doing some extra training on the side. :?

Thanks for posting the blog. I had never heard of it, but will check in with it regularly now. I am not concernred about Sigalet right now. I highly doubt if Jonathan will leave this season. And as was stated before, he takes his academics very seriously, and I would be surprised if he left before completing his degree.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

No problem, FF.

And like I said, it just *sounds* like not so good news, but I run all my BG hockey stuff through you to filter it up a bit. You're like a mother Falcon to those guys!

(Did I say "mother"? Okay, how about "older sister"? )

Umm...thanks, I think..... When we started watching BG Hockey, we were the same age as the players, now we are in the age range of their parents!! According to the newly posted roster, all but one, were born AFTER I graduated from BG in the spring of '81. And to make matters worse, most of this year's team was born during or after the National Championship year!!! Sheeeeesh!!!! ....Excuse me, I need to go take a shot of Geritol....

BTW, they finally pulled down some of the cruddy looking Olympic banners and cleaned them!! .....'bout FREAKIN' time!!!! (sorry, Freak, no disrespect meant to youl!!)
