LET THE DEFECTIONS BEGIN

Doesn anybody know of any news or a blurb about mass defections at Miami (OH) Toledo , Akron , Western anybody? I've never heard a peep of any other school having this kind of player turnover. Something is still very wrong. Why are we giving schollies to kids that homebodies and are likely to leave. Coach Dakich needs to start getting in more in depth knowledge about these kids before we plunk down a schollie. If we keep doing this we're going to be going backwards even faster than ever before!

It's become the face of what college b-ball has become. Players leave for what ever reason and to say that this is all Dakich's fault without knowing the whole story is unfair and short-sighted. Everyone complained that Dakich pushed Vandermeer away, when all he wanted was to be closer to his family. It's August, B-Ball season's a little far away.

As long as the uniforms are orange and brown and the mascots are Freddy & Frieda I"ll be around supporting and cheering the team on. The other stuff is somewhat secondary and very trite, if you think about it, to be worrying about.
