Graduation Fees

Post by SaxyIrishTenor »

Does BG have them? My dad wants me to make sure we don't, so that I have enough money for the year... I haven't found anything on the website about it, so I would assume that means no. But recent grads - did you have to pay a fee, other than tuition and for cap/gown, to graduate?

I'm almost 100% positive that I didn't have to pay anything extra to graduate, just for the cap and gown. Then again, those sneaky bastards at the bursar's office might have snuck it in on a bill somewhere. Call the bursar and ask?

I didn't pay a fee.

Unless you count the part where I forfeited any dignity I may have had while on stage by turning to my parents, doing the "I am not a crook" gesture with my arms and screeching WOOOOOOOOOOOOO at the top of my lungs.

Of course, they may have changed the policy since I walked.

I walked last august and there was no fee. I was on scholarship so I know they didn't sneak anything on a bill. I don't know if they've changed but I would assume there is still no fee.
